APPROVAL OF EXPULSION CASE NO 14-271
Description
The student listed in Expulsion Case No 14-271, is in violation of an accepted settlement agreement for alternative school placement due to positive drug tests and defiant/disruptive behavior. On February 11, 2014 the student violated School Board Policy 5.32 Possession of Prohibited Items. It is the recommendation of the Superintendent that the student be expelled from Sarasota County Schools until May 29, 2015.
Recommendation
That in accordance with provision of Sections 1006.07(1)(a)(b), Florida Statues and School Board Policy 5.34, the holding of a hearing having been waived by the student/parent, the recommendation as specified in Expulsion Case No 14-271, to expel the student reference therein from the Sarasota County Schools, be approved effective immediately until May 29, 2015.
